STORY:
After witnessing the brutal murder of his parents at the hands of Colombian drug lords, Cataleya (Zoe Saldana) grew to become a ruthless killer bent on revenge. This is the plot of "Colombiana" in short, and to be honest, there is no substance more than history. The story is as "Leon" light, mostly an empty version of the same plot brought more to the heart. Fortunately for you, there are some solid ass kicking action to save what the script by Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen is missing.
"Colombiana" is stronger in the opening. Young Cataleya (Amandla Stenberg), instead of being the child weak, broken, who has just seen her parents butchered, is an end.
